I was born and raised in rural Utah as the youngest of four siblings in a Mormon household. My parents divorced when I was four, and by the time I was seven, my mom had welcomed another child. Those early experiences shaped much of the story I now tell in my upcoming memoir, a raw and honest look at childhood, faith, and resilience.
Life moved quickly—I married right out of high school at 17, and by 18 I was working at Walmart, where I’ve spent most of my career. I found a creative outlet in cake decorating, a passion I carried for nearly a decade both at work and at home. Over the years, I transitioned into the pharmacy, where I continue to work today.
Art, though, has always been at the center of who I am. Since I was very small, I used drawing and creating as a way to process life and express myself. After high school, I dreamed of becoming a tattoo artist, but it wasn’t until I was on maternity leave with my first and only child—just before turning 30—that I finally stepped into the field.
Today, tattooing is more than a career—it’s a shared experience. For me and for my clients, the process is therapeutic: each session becomes a conversation, a connection, and a moment of transformation. My favorite styles are blackwork, Gothic, and Halloween-themed tattoos—dark, bold, and expressive designs that let both me and my clients explore creativity without limits.
